Celebrate Excellence Among Us — Nominate a Peer Today!

Dear Chapter Members,

As nurses, we witness extraordinary acts of compassion, leadership, and resilience every day. Now is the time to shine a light on those moments—and the people behind them—by submitting your nominations for our Chapter Awards.

Peer recognition is more than a gesture; it’s a powerful affirmation that says, “I see you, and what you do matters.” When we lift each other up, we strengthen our community, boost morale, and inspire continued excellence in care.

Take a moment to reflect on your colleagues—the quiet heroes, the tireless mentors, the innovators, and the advocates. Your nomination could be the spark that reminds someone why they chose this calling. It is our goal to recognize one nurse each month and include them in our Extravaganza celebration in May. We also plan to recognize every nominee throughout the year.  

Let’s celebrate the heart of nursing—each other. My ask is that every member of our chapter nominate at least one RN that you know (Does not have to be a GRAC AACN member). All of us know one nurse who is worthy of our 2025 "On Purpose" award. Please see attached nomination form and QR code.
