Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Rehabilitation
Location: Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute
Hours Per Week: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $26.84/hr. - $33.18/hr

We are a state-of-the-art, 38-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital jointly operated by Atlantic Health System and Lifepoint Rehabilitation. We specialize in helping individuals recover from the debilitating effects of serious injuries or illnesses-including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic trauma, and amputation-through customized, patient-centered care.

What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care in accordance with established plans and LPN scope of practice under RN supervision
Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the RN or physician
Perform clinical interventions including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection
Assist with patient activities of daily living including hygiene, ambulation, and nutrition
Support the development and revision of individualized care plans
Communicate patient needs and progress with the interdisciplinary team
Advocate for the emotional and physical well-being of patients
Contribute to hospital quality and safety goals including patient satisfaction and adherence to core measures
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nursing program
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey
BCLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS preferred
IV Certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire (highly preferred)
Minimum one (1) year of LPN experience; acute care or med/surg experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment with ability to work independently
Passion for patient-centered rehabilitation and collaborative care
